Birthday Celebration And Chocolates

No, the 2 are not related topics.

Last night, a group of us went to Ah Loy Thai Restaurant in Shaw House along Beach Road for dinner, to celebrate the November and December people's birthdays - Gary, Meng Soon, Teck Chai, Wen Wei, and Yi Feng. Yi Feng could not join us at the last minute.

The restaurant was recommended by Wen Wei. It must be good, because Ah Loy means delicious in Thai, and we met Uncle Wilfred and his family there too. He said the restaurant is C & G - cheap and good.

The food was not bad. But the atmosphere was not that great. Not a place for dinner for a big group of people, and not for chit chatting too. They also ran out of the Thai desserts when we wanted to order. The restaurant closes early too - last order is at 7 pm.

Here are the pictures of the dinner.

What about chocolates? This morning, Zhen Hui gave the primers/officers cell a box of chocolates, which he brought back from Switzerland. The chocolates looked so pretty that I had to took some pictures of them. We had to share the box of chocolates with the Boys cell.

Later, I found out that Zhen Hui had another bar of black chocolates which he hid until Wen Wei came back from lunch with his friend. Talk about favouritism. Somebody forgot the lesson in James. Ha ha.

Look at how pretty the chocolates were.
