Combined Camp, Jurong Christian Church

We had our combined Seniors-Juniors Camp in church last Friday to Sunday. The theme of the camp was "From Common to Uncommon". We studied the characters of Bible heroes such as David, Joseph, Joshua and Gideon in workshops conducted by Uncles Meng Chye and Wong Mui, and during the devotions/vespers. The lessons were reinforced with games - pictionary, charades, and station games based on the 10 plagues. Everyone had a great time.

The meals were great too. So were the night games, the dragon boating and kayaking, the fun night where the squads presented skits based on the lessons they learnt. Of course, there was the camp song - Sound of a Warrior - with an action routine concocted by Ricky and Joshua F. On the last night, after the skits, there was a short rounding up sharing by Mr Chin, followed by the movie The Drummer, starring Jaycee Chan. This segment was a little too heavy for most of us.

Overall, it was a very successful camp. Thanks to everyone who put in the effort for the organisation.

Here are the pictures.
