Combined Outing To Upper Pierce Reservoir

Today was our combined Juniors-Seniors outing to Upper Pierce Reservoir. God blessed us with fine weather. Although the sky turned dark at some points, God kept the rain away until we completed the outing. It only started to rain when we were in the bus heading back to church.

God also granted us safety. Only Guo Rui sustained a minor cut on his leg. Other than that, we were all fine.

But that can’t be said of our shoes and socks. The recent wet weather must have made the ground around the reservoir water-logged. It was difficult negotiating certain parts of the terrain, which were very wet. Most of us got our shoes and socks wet, partly or whole. Mine were all wet. I had to throw away my pair of socks. One of them turned from white to brown. When we got back to church, many of us washed our shoes and socks. Daniel washed his does, and said they were like sponge when he put them on.
