The gathering point was Shuqun Primary School. The coaches were more than 30 minutes late – not sure why, whether it was our fault for not confirming the booking or some other reason. Pte Xavier went to Shuqun Secondary School instead, and officer Leon had to take a cab there to fetch him to the Shuqun Primary School. Junior Eugene did not tell his father about the outing. So, the father sent him and his sister to school at the normal time for the parade, which was after 8 am. Good thing the coaches were late.
The Juniors were divided into 4 groups, and each group was attached to squads Philemon, Ephesians, Solomon or Corinthians. It was good to see the Senior Boys taking care of the Junior Boys and talking to them. At the Hort Park, the Boys gave the refreshment kiosk a lot of business, buying snacks, drinks and ice cream for themselves.
Nothing much to post about, except to put up some pictures here. There were 2 strange sights to behold – our Junior Boys reading a book (Varden reading Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach) and doing their assessment book (See Hung working on his English assessment book). Look at the pictures below.
