Expedition 07 June 2008

This is about yesterday's expedition. It's going to be a long post (in terms of time, and because of the pictures), so let me do it patiently.

This year's expedition started in Bukit Panjang (outside Zhenghua Secondary School) and ended back in church. From Bukit Panjang, the Boys hiked to old Holland Road, Ghim Moh, Clementi, Jurong East and finally back to church. We started a little after 4.30 pm, and the first group (mainly Philemon guys) reached churched just before midnight. By then, it was really late, and Captain's group was still in the IMM area. So MDM and I decided to make a few rounds to fetch them and other guys back to church.

Back in church, which is undergoing some renovation, the Boys had only 3 toilets to shower in. We celebrated the May and June birthdays with a really nice cake topped with wonderful fruits. This morning, the Boys were dismissed at about 7.45 am. The officers and primers stayed back for youth worship, after which some of them still had the energy to play basketball in a nearby court.
