Alrights. This was what happened yesterday. My hectic, fun and sweet Friday.
After leaving home, I went to meet some of my Boys for lunch. They had KFC while I bought LJS for myself.
Yay! The 8 of them had their Naturalist's course at the Botanic Gardens. Ricky was sharing some interesting facts that they had learnt from the course. Do you know how was the word 'orchid' derived? These flowers got their name from the Greek όρχις orchis, meaning testicles, because of the appearance of the paired subterranean tuberiods. (Courtesy of wikipedia) Lol. I didn't know orchid has a hidden 'dirty' meaning. Now I know...
Alrights. Here is a picture of impatient Boys who can't stop talking and can't wait to board the bus to start our night tour.
Kok Yong requested me to take a picture of his (1st) buddy and him. However, he managed to jinx his buddy enough to cause him to have a fever in the middle of the night. His parents had to come to clarke quay to pick him cos he was crying. Bad Kok Yong...
We went for the taxi boat ride at Clarke Quay. But I don't have any pictures of us taking the rides cos I've absent-mindedly left my camera on the bus! Zzz. I'll upload them as soon as Ivan sends them to me. =) Love the night scenery and cool sea breeze during the boat ride.
And this is a picture of Lek Wei trying to act handsome, and the truly charming me.
We went to Mustafa after the boat ride at Clarke Quay. This is a picture of Small Mdm teaching us how to choose cheap and tasty nuts for our snacks. LOL. (I'm making us sound like monkeys.)
And this is a picture taken outside Mustafa Centre at about 2am. They still have their deepavali lights up in little India. =)
This is a picture of Kok Yong and his (2nd) buddy.
And I've decided to join in the cam-whoring to neutralise Kok Yong. Hahaha. =P Wanna try guessing whose hand is that? (Clue: Check out his tee)
That's a picture of Boon Hwee and myself trying to look sad. Leonard was "extra-ing". I quite like how this picture turned out. =)
Daniel and Amos! This is a precious, PRECIOUS photograph. It was taken after much persuasion and sweet-talking to our extremely camera-shy Daniel.
Ricky was trying to show how long his tongue is. From left, Leonard, Ricky and I.
Squad Philemon. (And those potential Philemonsters. Hee) We were at the airport for some treasure hunt and our much awaited MacDonald's supper.
Edvin, Boon Hwee and Ivan were showcasing one of our answers to the treasure hunt at Changi Airport.
Squad Philemon again, resting and waiting for the skytrain to arrive.
And this is my pride of all the pictures I've taken this morning. Samuel couldn't escape my camera despite dodging around me. Is 'camera-shyness' genetic?
This is a Japanese version of HAVE A NICE TRIP. Picture dedicated to Mr Chin who must be enjoying himself in Japan now.
Christmas decorations in Changi Airport. Joy to the world, the Lord is come.
And we left Changi Airport for the fishery port in Jurong. I didn't really like the place because it smells FISHY and the floor is really slippery. Some fish mongers there were shoo-ing us around probably because the parking fees there are crazily high, i.e. $5.30 for parking our bus for 30 minutes. But it was a good experience though.
See the number of fish(es) that are being sold? This is just one of the many stalls in the fishery port.
Our group photo at Fishery Port. =)
And we went to Jurong Hill after fishery port. This is a picture of our sea port at Tuas at approximately 4am.
This is the same picture as above, but taken at 7am, after my few hours of sleep. So romantic to see the sunrise together ya? (I slept through it. LOL!)
28th! A group photograph before leaving Jurong Hill.
ARgh?
