The group met in school first for a short briefing, before leaving for the airport in a 40-seater (talk about travelling in style). In addition to their own bags, each of them had to carry a bag of old clothes which we collected from church members to give to the needy Cambodians. The Principal Mr Tan came to the airport to see the group before we went to the staff canteen for lunch. Jeremy’s bus- and train-spotting buddies also came to see him off. How nice of them. Joel’s mum, aunty and brother Clement came too. So did Chris’ dad.
Here are the pictures we took in school and at the airport. Hope they are having fun over there in Cambodia. Pray that they will be safe, and will come back safely.
