During the inter company competition, I met a new friend called Brandon. We introduced ourselves during the devotion time. Mr. Chin asked us to find 2 friends from the 45th coy before he starts his devotion. Brandon was very kind and caring and I straight away thinks he was a good guy. During the competition we lost to his squad but he was still very humble and he didnt show off how great his squad was. He also sat with us during Lunch and we talked alot.
My favourite part of the inter company competition was the lunch. During lunch is when we were all bond together . We all sat together and talk to each other too. We know each other better not only from the 45th coy but also from our own squad members. When we communicate with each other, we will understand each other better.
What i have learnt is that we must not underestimate ourself. Some of us underestimated ourselves and think that we cannot do it. If we keep this attitude, we will not win. We must think positive. We do not even know how good our enemies are and we already gave up. that is not a good attitude. However, we cannot underestimate other teams us well. When we do not even know their strengths yet, we cannot judge anything. If we underestimate other teams before even playing the game, we might get shock if they turned out better than us. So we must always be humble and we must also believe that we can do it and not to give up even before it starts.

I made a friend named Brandon during the intercompany games. He is 15 years old. He is secondary 3 this year. He is very friendly. He is a tall giant. But he is extremely skiny. He is a Boys' Brigade boy from the 45th Singapore Boys' Brigade.

My favourate moment during the intercompany games is sing-a-long by Joshua Chan. Because i don't like the games part of the program because most of the 45th Singapore Boys' Brigade boys are very tall includeing Brandon. they are so tall that i could hardly get the ball or block the ball. I don't really like the lunch because the food is like it just came out of the freezer. Therefor I like the sing-a-long.

I learn that winning is not everything as there is no such thing as when I win you must lose. There can have a win win situation. The most important thing is that you do your best.

One of the friend that I have made is Jackie during the Inter Company Capstan's Ball Competition. He shared to me about how 45Th Company choose the players for each Squad and I also learn quite a few things about their Company.
The thing that I have learn during the Inter Company Capstan's Ball Competition with the 45TH Boy’s Brigade Company is sportsmanship. To me, having good sportsmanship is part of the game. When playing a game or a sport, it is important to show good sportsmanship whether you win or lose. The opponent maybe very hard on their attacks and emotions maybe build up in the heat of the moment, but by showing respect for the game and opponent, you will be viewed by others that you have a good sportsmanship.
One part of the programme I enjoyed most is the matches that we played against the 45TH Boy’s Brigade Company. They showed great sportsmanship and so do we. During the games, I had some interaction with the 45th Company boys and it is where we show how good is our sportsmanship, whether
we win or lose.
