Officers-Primers BBQ

The officers and primers had a BBQ fellowship (lunch) at Lakeshore Condominium this afternoon. The venue was booked through Mdm Shirley who stays at Lakeshore. Unfortunately, not everyone could make it, but those who did had a good time. It rained in the morning, but turned very hot in the afternoon. Most of us left by 3 pm, although we had use of the BBQ pit until 5 pm.

Look at all the food. Some officers contributed food. Yifeng came with prawns, fish, squids and stingrays - courtesy of his father's stall. Mr Chin contributed the chicken wings. Mdm Sook Hwee, the salads as usual. Mdm Sek Hoong, fried bee hoon, fruits and dessert. Meng Soon, fried rice. And Mdm Shirley fried fish and prawn crackers.

Dennis and Uncle Yew Moi were busy catching flies. Dennis especially was thrilled by the experience. He was actually keeping count. At one point, we saw him mouthing "Die! Die!" with glee. So weird.

Meng Soon left earlier for his own appointment, and left his umbrella behind. Look how forlorn and lonely it was.

Here are the rest of the pictures. Thanks to all who organised the fun event. Thanks also to Chaplain Pastor Anthony for saying grace before we tucked in.
