Adventure Quest 2009

We sent 2 teams for the Adventure Quest this year - one led by Clement, and the other by Ricky. The other members were (not in any order) Kok Yong, Ivan, Joshua F, Boon Hwee, Boris and Samuel, and Captain and officer Wen Wei trained them, and also helped out as marshalls in the competition. Samuel was the reserve in one of the teams, but he replaced Stanley who just recovered from a fever. Daniel Lee was the other reserve for the other team.

Last night, the teams (with Captain and officer Wen Wei) spent the night in room 1520 in Waterfront Grand Copthorne Hotel. The hotel is very very near to BBHQ. This made it convenient for the 2 teams to report for registration this morning at 3 am.

The competition included different legs - walking, cycling, kayaking, archery and soccer - and ended at the Springfield Secondary School in Tampines. I will leave it to the 2 teams leaders Clement and Ricky to blog about their experience here.
