We set up the booth and waited for the new Boys to come down from the hall. Quite a few of them visited our booth, most of them with their parents. There were no ex-Junior Boys this year, at least not that I am aware of. We invited them to the Games Day next Saturday, and recorded their names, class and contact numbers. One of them, a Boy named Brian (or Bryan?) was very enthusiastic. He immediately filled up the CCA Fair, and Wen Wei called Mr Phua, who came out to meet Brian. I think Mr Phua collected the CCA Form from him.
After we cleared up the booth, Captain and Justin compiled the name list. Thank God for answering our prayer. There were 45 names. We prayed for at least 40 names, and God gave us a bit more.
After lunch, we had singalong and devotion. Mr Phua shared with us about God's peace, and how to get it - by changing the way we think, and by obeying God. During the debrief, the names of the new Boys were distributed to the officers, primers and Boys to call and invite them to the Games Day next Saturday.
Let’s pray that God will direct their attention and interest to the BB. This is only the beginning. We’ll need to put in more effort to keep them interested in the BB.
Special thanks to Lance corporal Junxiang and officer Zhenhui, and their squad (Solomon) for their hard work in organizing our booth this year.
