After the wonderful time of singing, we watched a movie produced by My Hope Singapore. The movie was about how Jesus reached out to a noctorious gangster through the hole in the toilet and turned him around.
Mr. Chin carried on from the movie and shared a devotion about 'noise'. He encouraged us to keep out the noise from the world during this Christmas season to spend some time sitting at Jesus' feet.
Following that, Cadet Jia Wei led us in a time of card-exchange. We drew lots to write cards to random people in the company.
After blessing each other with our handwritten cards, we waited for our bus to arrive to bring us to the much anticipated Orchard Road!
Some boys were happily on board...
While some others were left behind because they had volunteered their services for the Chistmas concert.
We sang more carols and play games on our way to Orchard. Twelve Days of Christmas was especially fun!
Upon arrival at Plaza Singapura, the company splitted into our squad level and we headed off for dinner, shopping and Tanglin Mall.
Here's a picture of the best squad with the Christmas tree at Plaza Singapura. Do you know why Christmas trees are pointy upwards? They are a reminder for us to focus our thoughts on things above.
Here's the best squad with the Magi from the East. They point us to the right Person too!
Squad Philemon at the Nativity scene.
Here's the wrong response to the Good News. Squad Philemon & King Herod.
Squad Philemon at the scene where the company of angels announced Jesus' birth to the shepherds.
We headed for the basement at Plaza Singapura after we felt that we have camwhored enoughed. KFC was our choice.
Perry couldn't wait to start!
Daryl and his signature weird poses, if one gets to see him at all.
That's Ivan, Daryl and Officer Justin.
Here's Clement, Perry and Aravin.
Talk about desserts! Officer Justin bought us all ice cream from MacDonald's.
Perry, Aravin and Clement, were clearly enjoying themselves.
We headed for Tanglin Mall after dinner.
In conjuction of Singapore Tourism Board's "Sweet Christmas", we took pictures with cute candies, doughnuts and cakes.
Here's the Best Squad at Ngee Ann City.
The Best Squad again at the junction of Wheelock Place and CK Tangs.
We're almost there...
Squad Philemon was the FIRST to arrive at Tanglin Mall! :D
Now now, you might be thinking, "Why is everyone headed to Tanglin Mall?" Here's your answer! We were there for the artificial snow.
The beautiful tree at Tanglin Mall. It is decorated using recycled materials like water bottles! It's cool to save the earth huh?
Here's the rest of the company waiting patiently for the snow to start.
Some of us decided to take more pictures to kill time.
While others stood around to chat with each other.
Suddenly, the motors of the snow-making machine started to churn and it produced lots and lots of foam...
Here's a picture of an excited Jovis.
That's Sean and our CSM, Clement.
Here's Marcus, Sean and Clement.
Sean was really fast!!
Then it began to really look like snow...
That's all for this week! Blessed Christmas to all. :D
