BB Cares 2008

We did our BB Cares 2008 project today with the Bo Tien Home residents.

We walked from church to Bo Tien Home where we presented a medley of 2 dialect Christian praise songs to them. The JCC Dialect Ministry group joined us. Uncle Peter Cheong helped us to explain the purpose of our visit in dialect. The Dialect ministry then presented 3 Christian songs - 2 in Cantonese and 1 in Hokkien.

After a time of interaction, the residents then had their lunch while we had ours. After that, we set off for the zoo. When we reached the zoo, 12th Coy just finished their visit with residents of another home. Our group rode the tram and saw the Big Splash show. We sat at the Polar Bear exhibit and had some refreshments. After a group photograph, the coaches came and fetched us back to Bo Tien Home.

It was a good visit. The weather was fine (but hot), with just some passing showers.

Thank God for watching over us, and using us to bless the Bo Tien Home residents. Thank you also to the JCC Dialect Ministry for lending us their support.
