We have all heard about automatic toilets - you know, those that do the washing for you so you don't have to use your hands.
It was there in Diamond Hotel and Narita Garden Hotel. It was there again in the Washington Hotel in Yokohama where I had lunch with my distant cousin and Japanese friend (another story about the lunch later). It's also here in this hotel where I moved into after checking out of Diamond Hotel.
What's so special about the automatic toilet? I tried it for the first time in Yokohama. Well, besides doing the washing for you, the seat is also warmed up for you. It's a good feeling, especially when the weather is so cold here. And the feeling of being washed... well, you have to try it yourself. I won't describe it for you.
The obscene icon in the second picture is the button you need to press when you want the toilet to wash you.
