A few thoughts from the conference -.-"

Well I deleted my post because… I say so much you all won’t understand right or worse still won’t be bothered to read further. =P

Well, you all noticed that our Clt Lek Wei and myself like 'disappeared' from the bible quiz because... we attended a 3 day Uniformed Group Youth Leader Conference (talk here talk ther, you know) from 7-9 Sept and yes, I'm going to share some of my views from I gone through conference.

After these three days of the conference (not camp ah), with all the dialogue (something like Q&A session), I know that having vision when we are doing something is as important as you take action on doing something. It is like a flag planted at the end and you are going to get the flag. So don’t do just of the sake of doing hor and don’t dream too much.

In the conference, one of the topic is “think global, stay local”, the topic is chim ar… about venture out of Singapore to learn something and come back to contribute… so I just something related. The topic about this globalisation is about connecting each other though they are of different country. I think that we shouldn’t be self-contained lor… As we all see each other every Saturday, some of you don’t dare to talk some officers or some boys. Try to be open (I realize I’m no different like you all but I still try).

‘Don’t do for the sake of doing’, ‘Don’t like to do, still do if you have to do it, it’s part of self-discipline’. Wah… I think I can make ten-years series. =x

Well, I can’t say so much or else you all will ‘koon’. By the way, Lek Wei made a friend who is a primer. He’s Melvin and I overheard that he’s from M.I and score so well in general paper (O_O). I told Lek Wei, “It’s a good chance to learn something from someone who score so well in GP.” Haha.
